Barefoot College Books & DVDs
Since 1972, the
Barefoot College has
worked to improve the lives of the rural poor. The College addresses basic needs
for water, electricity, housing, health, education and income.
Nineteen women and men from nine countries around the world are currently training
at the College in Tilonia, Rajasthan, India to become barefoot solar engineers.
After six months of training, these women and men will return to their own countries
and solar-electrify their own communities.

Friends of Tilonia, Inc.
is a US-based, tax-exempt 501(c)3 non-profit organization which helps support the
rural development programs of the Barefoot College and its charitable affiliates
in India.
